Bad Experience on X Fitness Centre
So today, I will retell you a story about my cancellation process on one of biggest fitness centre on west jakarta or you will call it X.
first time, I join is on Jul 6,2018. At first, I came to asking about price. My friend ask me to do it. So the story begin, the first woman sales call it 'AL', trying to convince me to join, then I insist not join. She ask me to wait to give me some brochure or etc (not really remember what reason she gave to me) then she back with man that you can call it 'IP'. I is her boss. Then again he again to convince me, I insist not to join. Then he came with offering, I can join and free any fees for first month. And if I am not comfortable with that, I can cancel also in same month without any fees. So I believe and interest to trying. So they just going, take membership form, ask to copy my ID Card, And Credit Card. Then my membership is ready to use. After that, I going holiday for 10 days and got back at Jul 15,2018, so first time, I use my membership is Jul 16,2018 in the morning. Then I think, I can't have time for another exercise that month, also for the next month. So at Jul 18, 2018, I came to ask about PT (Actually this only for my friend information) then I am asking for cancellation membership. As the sales said I can cancel also I read on membership agreement, I can cancel my membership without any fees within 14 days before 25 every month.
But in here, everything came complicated, so I came at night around 8.30 PM. The sales came to convince me again but again I insist not to continue my membership.
waiting...waiting..waiting...
around 9.45 PM, they came and ask me to come tomorrow and sign cancellation form.
then again, I believe and told then will come.
and today I came on 6.30, asking about cancellation process. The front man ask me to wait a bit to meet their management team.
wait wait wait..then i meet 2 person call it 'LW' and 'AD'. They ask me about my reason, then I also ask to cancel my membership since it not 14 days yet from my first time join.
but they told me that I must pay for aug membership fees and cancellation fees because I ask for cancellation after 15 in this month, so they already closing blaa..blaaa...blaaa..
okay, I agree to pay my membership fees but refused to pay cancellation fees since I am already request within 14 days. They refused then ask me to wait..
then I need to wait again..again..again..
then 'LW' coming back, said the same thing, again I insist of course not to pay cancellation fees, they can have my membership fees (that my donation for them) but no for cancellation fees since it's still within 14 days. Then 'LW' go again to request for my cancellation fees. it's 7 PM, and 'LW' said it's need around 15 minutes. So okay, I wait again..wait..wait..wait..
but it's need more than 15 minutes before 'LW' going back to me. around 30 minutes, and she comeback and told me Head Office not reply yet about my request. it's 7.30 PM btw.
She ask me, I want to wait or I can going. But I told her, I will wait since I don't want coming back again to that place for the third times.
So 'LW' going again, until 9 PM, there is no conclusion for my request. I already tired and need my time to doing my work. So I came to front desk and ask where 'LW', I want to know the result.
Then I meet 'LW', she told me that the Head Office not reply yet. But I insist to have my cancel form by today so no need to come again.
this the funny things come, She told me that I can have my cancel form If I want to pay with the cancellation fees. If I refused, I need to have the result by tomorrow, she will email me or contact me about the result.
I am already tired guys, my work still waiting, then I agree to pay all the fees, count it as donation expense for them.
then all is finished. I hope, they also told me the truth and no charge to my credit card.
the lesson learned today is don't believe people. some people not worth it to believe.
this is only my sharing. no intention to harsh people, brand, or anything else.
